Crassula setulosa

Rock garden Posted on Sat, July 09, 2011 22:55:47

Not all that much flowering at the moment. This Crassula is from South Africa and is fully hardy in South Sweden.

I am changing location and moving to a new house this month so sadly a lot of very nice plants will be left behind and I will have to start over from scratch again with my rock garden, apart from the about 2500 pots I am taking with me then of course :-). I’ll try and post some nice pictures anyhow if time allows.

Helichrysum sessiliodes

This Helichrysum has ‘everlasting’ flowers that sits just on top of the foilage. This plant, growing in plain sand has survived a very cold Swedish winter and wet spring.

Phyteuma scheuchzeri, a bit too tall for my garden at about 30 cm but as with all Phyteuma – exceptionally beautiful and strange flowers.

Hi everyone,

Thought I’d invite all the people that visit my site to discuss rock garden flowers and plants so I started this blog today. It will also allow me to publish pictures of what is happening in my garden at the moment.

First out is this fantastic Edraianthus pumilo, on of the the real classic rock garden plants. They truly are a fantastic sight when in bloom.
